Pilates

One of the great things about Pilates is that it’s for everybody! We have members from the ages of 15 to 85 participating in our Pilates program as well as men and women alike! Workouts can be tailored to very specific needs and goals, whether it’s recovering from an injury, general strengthening and stretching, or even sports-specific work.

Our Pilates studio, located on the lower level of the Clubhouse, is fully equipped with top-of-the-line Peak Pilates Equipment. When new to the Pilates apparatus, it is recommended that you complete several private sessions before jumping into a group reformer class so you can get comfortable with the equipment and the trainer can place you in a class appropriate for your level. Feel free to grab a friend and make them semi-private sessions instead! Some of our members appreciate the one-on-one or semi-private training sessions long-term as the sessions can be customized to their individual needs. Others enjoy the company and camaraderie of other members in a group reformer class.

Functional Yoga merges ancient yoga techniques and modern wisdom to identify imbalances and create a unique path to healing and wellness. Each one-on-one session, either in person or virtual includes:

      • Advanced postural assessment
      • Range of motion, muscle strength, and flexibility testing
      • Practical Ayurvedic (lifestyle choices) concepts related to the assessment and treatment process.
      • Breathing exercises and meditation techniques to reduce stress, improve sleep and digestion.

Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition counseling is a supportive resource in helping you make healthier choices regarding your diet. We will work with you to identify problems and gaps in your nutrition and suggest ways to incorporate healthy foods into your lifestyle. We can help you accurately track your food and set realistic goals. You’ll learn what foods will maximize your health and energy, as well as foods you may want to avoid. We can discuss your current lifestyle and food habits to evaluate which components you might benefit from eating more or less of to help reach your goals. Nutrition should be simple, let us help you sort through the overly complex industry and guide you the right direction.

Percussion Massage Therapy

The massage gun provides accelerated bursts of pressure into the tissues of the body. This action helps release muscle knots which are the primary suspects for back and shoulder pain. What’s more, it can reach even deeper layers of muscles than a foam roller or human hands. Unlike in traditional massage, percussive therapy desensitizes the surrounding area of your aching muscle until the pulses penetrate the target area. It helps prevents Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS), improves flexibility, increases blood circulation, gives way to a better lymphatic flow, offers quick relief to muscle soreness, and more!

Massage Therapy

Massage is the manipulation of one’s muscles to release tension, reduce pain, and help the muscles relax. By using many different modalities such as:  trigger point, deep tissue, myofascial, neuromuscular, flushing, and many more. It is also used as preventive maintenance, to prevent further injury or to prevent injury all together.
