Scott has over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience. He has coached players of all ages and abilities including adult, college, high school, and junior players. 

He also has extensive experience in private and public club settings organizing and running all levels of tennis and pickleball tournaments, socials, leagues, and team practices. 

His family was named the 2005 Tennis Family of the Year for the northern Michigan district.
