Rena was born and raised in Fort Collins. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
Rena spent 25 years working in the law enforcement industry as a 911 dispatcher, lead trainer, supervisor, and acting manager. She began her career with the Loveland Police Department, then moved to Seattle and worked for the Seattle Police Department for 15 years. She concluded her 911 career as a Civilian Director with Fort Collins Police Services. During her 25-year career, she also spent some time working for Fort Collins Utilities as a Customer Care Supervisor. Over the past year, Rena traveled around the country demonstrating public safety software solutions to Police, Fire, & EMS agencies.
She is committed to leadership and values enhancing the employee experience at all stages. She has a passion for helping people find development and growth opportunities.
When she is not working, you can find her walking along the Fort Collins Power Trail, spending time with friends, or reading a book (English major!)
Rena is thrilled to be joining the team in the role of Employee Services and Experience Manager. She is ready to work with this outstanding team to enhance the experience of all who are a part of the Fort Collins Country Club!
