Job Summary

The Marketing & Communication Strategist is responsible for the execution of all internal and external marketing efforts including, but not limited to, website, social media, promotional materials, and member communication while maintaining the integrity and consistency of our brand standards. Additional administrative support may be required from time to time as requested by the GM or AGM.

Reporting Relationships

Reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and works in tandem with the GM.

Responsibilities and Authorities

    • Develop and create outward and inward facing marketing materials and ensure brand guidelines are met

    • Develop, execute, and manage all social media aspects related to the club

    • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events

    • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities

    • Plan, produce and execute video, photo, and print content

    • Ensure all graphics are consistent and within brand standards

    • Collaborate, craft, and send out member correspondence

    • Work with F&B in the design and production of menus

    • Maintain and update the club website – external and member only

    • Be the Club’s PR representative and craft press releases on an as and when needed basis

    • Review all outside media inquiries

    • Coordinate will all department heads regarding their department specific messaging and member communication

    • Provide marketing support to all club events and activities

Experience and Qualifications

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.

    • Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office and membership.

    • Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft systems.

    • Solid working knowledge of software to assist with design, photography, and photo/video editing, such as Adobe and Canva

    • Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to work unsupervised and handle and prioritize many projects at one time.

    • Ability to work a varied schedule set according to business needs including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    • Demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Team-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

    • Must be self-motivated and willing to serve the membership and fellow department heads.

Working Conditions and Physical Functions

    • Must be able to work in a busy environment.

    • Must be able to work in a warm or cold environments at times.

    • Functions outside may require working in a hot, sunny, cool, cold, and/or rainy conditions.

    • Independent mobility throughout Clubhouse and Club property.

    • Manual dexterity to handle camera and computer.

    • Hearing and speaking sufficient to communicate with members, guests and co-workers.

    • Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs.

Salary

      • Negotiable based on experience.

      • This is an hourly position with a range of $20-25/hr ($41,000 – $52,000 annually)
