Overview

Fort Collins Country club is an 18-hole private country club in Northern Colorado. Located in Fort Collins, CO, this club features tree-lined fairways, mountain views, and a family-friendly atmosphere. The course has hosted several US AM qualifiers, collegiate events, drive, chip, and putt qualifiers and pro-ams. As part of the staff, you are responsible for creating an environment that makes Fort Collins Country Club, feel like home to all our members and guests while they are on the property.

The Maintenance Technician will assist in day-to-day building maintenance as well as scheduled preventative maintenance and building improvements.

This job is 20-30 hours per week with a shift that runs from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Some weekend shifts will be required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• • Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage and window, door, or wall repair.
  • Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
  • Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
  • Working on new projects and small construction additions.
  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
  • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped.
  • General maintenance of outdoor tennis courts, swimming pool, gazebo and grounds.
  • Assist in sweeping, vacuuming and trash collection on days that housekeeping staff needs assistance.

Position Requirements

• • Electrical, plumbing, paint experience preferred but not required.
  • We will teach basic wiring/plumbing and preventive maintenance to the right person.
  • Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. The ability to work independently is a must.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on their feet for the length of the shift.

Salary

• • $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
