Scott has over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience. During his time at Fort Collins Country Club, he has coached players of all ages and abilities including over 25 college players, 10+ high school state champions, adult and junior USTA teams and nationally ranked juniors.
Originally from Michigan, he was the high school state champion at No. 1 singles. His family was named the 2005 Tennis Family of the Year for the northern Michigan district. Scott spent his college days at Ohio University, where he won three conference titles. After finishing his collegiate career, he played professionally in the United States, Australia and Europe.
Scott has been the Director of Tennis at the Fort Collins Country Club since 1997 and is also the assistant women’s tennis coach at Colorado State University. He is a USPTA Certified P1 teaching pro.
